Who should request an assessment?
This assessment is for IT and infrastructure teams running NetApp hardware that is approaching—or has reached—end of availability (EOA), end of life (EOL), or end of service life (EOSL). It is especially useful when you are weighing a refresh, migration, support extension, retirement, budget request, or risk-reduction plan.
Whether you manage a single system or a broader estate, we can help you turn lifecycle uncertainty into a clear set of options. Azroth begins with the NetApp environments our team knows deeply, including AFF A300, FAS8200, ONTAP 7-Mode, and ONTAP 9.x cluster-mode environments.
What to prepare
You do not need to provide live access for the initial assessment. A rough asset list or list of models, together with a general description of your environment and the decision you are trying to make, is enough to begin.
Helpful inputs include:
- the systems or models you are evaluating;
- approximate capacity, performance, and support concerns;
- current software or ONTAP version information, if readily available;
- known deadlines, refresh plans, or business constraints; and
- the people who should be part of the discovery discussion.
Please do not submit passwords, remote-access credentials, patient information, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive data through the request form.
What happens after you submit?
We will send a confirmation email within 1 business day and invite you to schedule a 45-minute discovery call with an Azroth engineer. That conversation is focused and practical: we will review your goals, validate the information available, identify the systems or decisions that matter most, and determine the right scope for the assessment. The initial discovery call does not require live access to your environment.
What you receive
Within 3–5 business days after the discovery call, you will receive a written Lifecycle Risk Summary tailored to the information you provide. The summary typically includes:
- an asset-inventory snapshot based on the information available;
- an EOL/EOSL risk rating for each system reviewed;
- a practical recommendation to refresh, migrate, extend, or retire each system; and
- an estimated cost-avoidance range where the available information supports one.
The assessment is an informed technical and lifecycle view, not a guarantee of future availability, performance, compatibility, savings, or service eligibility. Any support scope, response commitment, parts arrangement, or service recommendation is subject to validation and a separate signed agreement.
Confidential and no obligation
Your assessment details are confidential. Azroth will use them to evaluate your request and communicate with you, and will not share them outside Azroth without your permission except as necessary to deliver a customer-authorized service, comply with law, or as described in our Privacy Policy.
There is no obligation to purchase support, maintenance, or any other service after receiving your Lifecycle Risk Summary. If the assessment shows that independent support is not the right option, we will say so.
